Occupies the northern reaches of the island. It’s people are seafarers by tradition and claim descent from a shipwrecked fleet that ran aground some 300 years ago. Their language bears similarities to those from the Cities of Hope. They are slow to expand and haven’t spread very far from what they say were their original landing points. Few of their settlements are more than a day or two from the coast. This reluctance to venture inland has hurt their trade and means that recently, due to heavy deforestation of prime boat building lumber, most of their ships have come from their more venturesome southern neighbours, Mutina. This was the cause of several small wars between the two, the last of which ended about 30 years ago.
